Buwan ng Wikang Filipino (Filipino National Language/Dialect Month)

Praise be to God for another successful event of our lives!!

This month of August, Filipinos are celebrating the National Language/Dialect Month or commonly known as Buwan ng Wikang Filipino. 

Themed with: "Ang Wikang Filipino ay wikang panlahat. Ilaw at lakas sa tuwid na landas."

Most educational institutions commemorate occasions like this. In remembrance to the first Commonwealth President, Manuel Luis Quezon under the American Government during the 20th century. He is known as "Ama ng Wikang Filipino" at "Ama ng Republika ng Pilipinas".

In remembrance to this, we, at the PSALM Tutorial Center made a simple program to acknowledge our National Filipino Language - Tagalog. 


Taking lessons from the story of the Tower of Babel in Genesis Chapter 11, on how God confused the languages of men because of their selfish ambitions and pride. We taught them how important it is to speak with humbleness, meekness, gentleness and with LOVE as what the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13:1 "If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal" (NIV). Neither eloquentness nor being articulate can make someone believe that he/she can show love.
