Family Day - A Day to Eat Dinner with Your ChildrenTM was launched in 2001 by The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University. Family Day is a national movement that informs parents that the engagement fostered during frequent family dinners is an effective tool to help keep America’s kids substance free. Dinner Makes A Difference!

We consider the importance of our children's health and well-being and family meals are the perfect time to talk to your kids and to listen to what’s on their mind. The more often kids eat dinner with their families, the less likely they are to smoke, drink or use drugs.

As what the Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." We are told as what we should do as parents to train up our children in the way of the Lord so they can grow up to be Christian adults.
